Qualifications
Applicants for this position should possess an earned doctorate in the appropriate discipline and a strong research record commensurate with the rank sought. Applicants must be committed to excellence in teaching and to the importance of collegiality. Teaching opportunities exist at the graduate (PhD and masters), executive, and undergraduate levels. Working actively with PhD students is also expected of the individuals chosen to fill theposition.

Qualifications: Candidates should have a strong research record and demonstrated research potential in the area of strategy and entrepreneurship, and produce publications at an internationally significant standard in terms of originality, significance and rigour, in line with personal and departmental objectives agreed in the Staff Review and School/Department planning processes. Candidates will be expected to teach in the School’s BSc or MSc programmes. Notably, our school is expanding with new programmes in international management, which will provide opportunities for research involving global settings to be leveraged in the classroom. While we invite applications from all areas of strategy and entrepreneurship, we would particularly like to encourage applications by those interested in teaching subjects related to international business. As a research-focused group, tenure-track positions involve teaching only two courses per year (with a potential 50% teaching reduction in year one), with generous researchsupport.

Programme Administrator
About therole
The post holder provides comprehensive administrative support for all aspects of the School’s online-based MBA programme. In addition, the post holder will support the School’s wider teaching and learning activities, working closely with the Teaching and Learning Manager as well as the Programme Director for the UCL MBA.The role will specialise in administering the UCL MBA, ensuring effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects including enquiries, applications, marketing, engagement of external contacts, assessments, student experience, student support, graduation and events. The post will lead in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students, alumni and staff relating to the designated programme and beyond. This role will be responsible for line managing a Teaching and Learning Administrator dedicated to supporting the UCL MBA, with the potential to expand the team as the programme grows.The role holder will at times be asked to support programmes on and off campus (may necessitate UK and international travel) and these may run over weekends or during university breaks. On occasion, the team will be responsible for programme support after normal working hours as our programme students are mostly working professionals and may need to have contact with staff outside of traditional UK office hours. In addition, the role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and ‘can do’ approach are required in order to adequately execute the dutiesoutlined.

The role holder will be familiarity with supporting executive/adult learners either in another MBA programme or comparable executive education environments and the ability to communicate with an executive student population.
